Old Oakland Summer Stroll

Welcome to the Old Oakland Summer Stroll!

Come join us for a fun-filled evening in the heart of Old Oakland, centered around 9th & Washington Streets.

On Fridays from 5:00–8:00 PM on August 28th, September 25th, and October 23rd celebrate summer in the heart of Old Oakland with an evening of food, music, art, and community. Local shops and restaurants will be out on the sidewalks, joined by neighborhood arts and culture organizations.

Chapter 510 & the Dept. of Make / Believe will be open— shop sale items, books written by and for youth, Poetry is Power hats, journals, cards, pens, pins, candles, water bottles, and more!

Don’t miss — for the next three Fridays we will be offering 2 for 1 poetry prescriptions! Drop a worry in the worry tube or add your wish to our community wishing well. The Poetry Doctor will be there to prescribe any and all feelings you have!
