We are so grateful that Kara Karaoke has selected Chapter 510 as their cause for their Competitive Karaoke season! At Chapter 510 we believe in the power of youth voices. KARA Karaoke is uplifting this mission through spotlighting that every voice deserves to be heard. 

They are inviting our community out next Monday, Sept. 29. Come hang with the Chapter 510 staff and board, join us in a group performance, and cheer for some of the Bay’s finest karaoke performers!

KARA Karaoke is Oakland’s one and only karaoke league. Their mission goes beyond singing—they also use competitions to introduce folks to ranked-choice voting and its importance in local elections. Each Monday, teams compete, and winners are determined using ranked-choice voting.

Don’t forget to check out future Karaoke events for the Fall season. 10% of bar proceeds will go to supporting our writing programs for Oakland youth! Competitions take place Mondays at Legionnaire and Tuesdays at Parliament at 7-9pm from Sept. 1- Oct. 28.
