ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Mubarak Haruna is a rising force in the Bay Area’s entertainment industry, celebrated for his versatility, commanding presence, and passion for storytelling that moves people. As a SAG-AFTRA eligible actor, Mubarak has built an impressive portfolio spanning film, television, and commercials, working across technology, startups, and global brands. His commercial work includes projects with X, SanDisk, Google, OpenAI, Zoom, Square, FIFA and many others, showcasing his ability to bring authenticity and depth to diverse characters and stories.
His growing body of work reflects a commitment to excellence and a determination to elevate the Bay Area as a destination for world class filmmaking. Through his creative journey, Mubarak has had opportunities to work alongside and contribute to projects featuring influential figures, including Jamie Foxx, Jimmy Butler, and Adekunle Gold, among others. His film credits include Liam’s Journey, in which he played the lead role, alongside projects such as Circle of Sinners, A Camel’s Desertion, and Planet.
