ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Kamilah Mitchell is an educator, restorative justice practitioner, and the founder of Teas With Meaning, a wellness-centered tea experience rooted in intention, storytelling, and community. For over 20 years, her work has lived inside classrooms, community spaces, and healing-centered environments, where she supports connection, reflection, and belonging, especially for those often pushed to the margins.
Teas With Meaning began as a personal ritual and has grown into a creative practice that transforms tea into an experience. Through seasonal ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and guided facilitation, Kamilah creates spaces where people can slow down, listen, and return to themselves. Her work invites individuals and communities to engage in something both simple and powerful, the act of pausing.
Whether she is leading a workshop, curating a tea bar, or holding space in conversation, Kamilah centers presence, care, and intention. Her approach blends creativity and wellness with a deep commitment to equity and community, reminding us that healing does not have to be rushed to be real.
