Rad Bookmaking with Kate, Miriam, and Social Justice Santa

Come in to make some rad books about your rad selves with two rad local women, Kate Shatz and Miriam Klein Stahl. 

All Oakland kids, teens, and families welcome to celebrate Kate and Miriam's newest book Rad Women Worldwide, the sequel to Rad American Women. 

Plus, we will have our very own Social Justice Santa in the house for photos and Social Justice Christmas lists!

Come eat, make, write, sit on Social Justice Santa's lap, and celebrate with us from 3pm - 5pm (reading at 4pm) and find out more about and enroll your child/children in our FREE after-school tutoring and writing program.

This coming February, we will open our writing center to provide free after-school tutoring and writing workshops from 3pm to 6pm, Monday–Friday. We have 20 openings for underserved students ages 8–18 in Oakland and will prioritize families located near our writing center at 2301 Telegraph.
